In western Honduras, coffee carries both history and resilience. Guara Verde takes its name from the Great Green Macaw, a national symbol of endurance and pride, rooted in the highlands of Copán.
This lot is part of a collaborative selection programme that brings agronomists and producers together to refine each stage of cultivation. Soil health, harvest timing, fermentation approaches and drying protocols are explored collectively, with cuppings guiding each decision. Quality here is the result of ongoing dialogue and careful execution at origin.
In the cup, yellow plum leads with gentle ripeness. Dried fig follows, adding a deeper, brown-sugar sweetness, before roasted cashew settles into the finish with a rounded nutty warmth. The profile is steady and assured, fruit-forward yet grounded.
Guara Verde is also an integral component of our Equilibrium blend. It provides the blend’s core structure, anchoring the fruit tones with natural sweetness and lending a composed, everyday character that allows the other components to sit harmoniously around it.
This coffee offers a dependable, quietly expressive cup that fits seamlessly into daily rituals.
Recommended to rest beans for 7-10 days from roast date before consuming.
