One of the largest exporters and champions of Guatemalan coffee, UNEX has been in the industry for over 70 years. First known as the Foundation of Compania Mercantil de Sola, it has seen a few name changes and adjustments but has remained committed to producing quality coffee regardless.
Its depth of experience and extensive history has allowed UNEX to provide to the community. Under Farmer's Aid, a number of tenants are able to supply holistic support and care to not just their partner farmers - the environment, education, training, sustainability and health.
One of UNEX's most prominent programmes is the Farmer Field School, where farmers receive training to adapt their farming practices and learn practical use of their training to achieve self-sufficiency.
