An open, courtyard-like space where stone, light, and a sliver of nature come together in quiet balance. The counter sits at its centre, softly lit like a skylight. A place for those who often show up for others to pause––and take a moment to show up for themselves.
Built from reclaimed timber and recycled coffee waste, Alchemist Kyobashi reflects a continued use of what already exists. These elements are reassembled carefully, softened with plants that shift with time.
Together with living elements, the space is designed to evolve through daily use.
In Zhongxiao Dunhua’s East District, tiled buildings line the streets with texture and memory, Alchemist Dunhua sits quietly at the corner. Extending gently into the street, it becomes part of the everyday. Inside, a palette of clay brick and recycled coffee panels shapes an interior that feels easy to enter, stay, and return to.
